One of the most enriching benefits Eola Hills offers our community of wine aficionados is the chance to explore the world. Our annual all-inclusive international tours are coordinated in-house by our founder and avid traveler, Tom Huggins. Friends of the winery travel in luxury, tour historic sites, sample local cuisine, and learn about exotic wine producing regions. We hope you will join our group of adventurous travelers on one of our next expeditions!
Upcoming European Trips
The below trips are in replacement of our incredibly anticipated Italian adventure which was supposed to take place in May and June 2020. We are ever hopeful, ever optimistic that travel and international travel will resume safely. With cruise ships rebooking at breakneck speed, our team wanted to ensure we were able to create an opportunity for Eola Hills wine and travel lovers to get into the world again safely and with a solid plan in place.

2025 | Spain & Portugal
This June, Eola Hills Wine Cellars has charted the entire Gil Eanes River Ship for a 7-night cruise starting in Porto, Portugal. The pre-trip will be to the Basque region of northern Spain and include a 4-night stay at one of the most picturesque and historic towns in Spain. The two or three-night post-trip starts in Porto and ends in Lisbon and features a visit to Eola’s cork supplier’s factory and cork forests as well as the castles of Sintra.

After discovering Eola Hills Winery and learning of their European trips we signed up. We have three trips under our belts and eagerly await the next chance to go again. Each trip has encompassed everything from bucket list places like Monet’s Garden and Neuschwanstein Castle to hidden gems of medieval villages in the Alsace or a cognac tasting in Cognac. The well-chosen lodgings are often in an old city or village so one can walk around after the day tourists have left, maybe dine with other travelers from the group.
