THE JOURNEY
PORTO l 11/4 – 11/7 3 NIGHTS
Our journey begins with three nights at Eurostars Aliados in the heart of Porto.
We’ll become acquainted with the city through its historic streets, culinary traditions and celebrated Port wine heritage. Planned experiences include a welcome dinner, guided exploration of Porto’s flavors, a special group dinner and a visit to one of the city’s renowned wine lodges.
THE DOURO VALLEY l 11/7 – 11/12 5 NIGHTS
From Porto, we’ll board the MS Vasco de Gama for a five-night cruise through the Douro Valley.
The Douro is one of the world’s oldest and most visually remarkable wine regions, where steeply terraced vineyards rise above the river. Our cruise includes onboard dining and a selection of classic guided excursions introducing us to the landscapes, communities and winemaking traditions of the valley.
Eola Hills wines will also be featured aboard the cruise, bringing a taste of Oregon to Portugal as we travel through this historic wine country.
LISBON l 11/12 – 11/15 3 NIGHTS
Our final three nights will be spent at the five-star 138 Liberdade Hotel, ideally situated on Lisbon’s elegant Avenida da Liberdade.
In Lisbon, we’ll explore historic neighborhoods, architecture, cuisine and Portuguese creative traditions. Anticipated experiences include a guided city tour, a hands-on tile workshop, Jerónimos Monastery, a pastéis de nata experience and an evening of traditional Fado music and dining.
